Complaints and Appeals

All complaints and appeals will be managed in accordance with SMC’s Grievance, Complaints and Appeals Policy. This does not affect a student’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law, where applicable.

Disclaimer

Sydney Metro College is not liable for interruptions to training services caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, industrial action, or critical incidents.

SMC does not guarantee that a student will successfully complete the short course.

Fees, Charges & Refund Policy

Refunds

• Cancellations must be advised at least two (2) business days prior to course commencement to be eligible for a refund.

• No refunds will be provided for bookings made less than two (2) business days before course commencement.

• No refunds will be issued for non-attendance or arrivals more than 10 minutes late.

• Online courses provide immediate access and are non-refundable.

Rescheduling

• More than 7 days prior to course date: $20 rescheduling fee

• Less than 7 days prior to course date: $50 rescheduling fee

All courses must be completed within three (3) months of the original booking date.
