    your behalf. To proceed, you must authorise SMC and confirm that you have reviewed the privacy information

    You will also need to provide the necessary information as outlined at the end of this form to facilitate the
    application.

    Entry Requirements

    • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

    • Applicants must have completed Year 12 or an overseas equivalent qualification.

    • Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency with an IELTS score of 5.5 overall, with no band lower than
      5.0, or an approved equivalent.

    Course-Specific Entry Requirements

    • BSB60720 – Advanced Diploma of Program Management: Completion of BSB50820 Diploma of
      Project Management or BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management, or a superseded equivalent.

    • CHC50125 – Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care: Completion of CHC30125
      Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood
      Education and Care.

    Sydney Metro College – Terms and Conditions

    1.0 Student Information Update
    Overseas students are required to provide their current
    Australian address and notify Sydney Metro College (SMC) of any changes within seven (7) days.

    2.0 College Property and Equipment
    All students must take care of college equipment,
    facilities, and property.

    3.0 Discipline
    SMC reserves the right to expel students for serious breaches of discipline.

    4.0 Course Entry Requirements
    International students must meet the following criteria:

    • Be at least 18 years of age at course commencement.

    • Meet specific course entry requirements.

    • Satisfy English language proficiency requirements, including:

      • Completion of AQF Certificate IV or higher in Australia; or

      • IELTS score of 5.5 overall or equivalent; or

      • Other approved ELICOS or equivalent test results.

    Additional visa requirements may apply depending on country of origin.

    5.0 Application Fees
    A non-refundable application fee of $250 per qualification applies and
    must be paid upon enrolment.

    6.0 Tuition Fees
    Tuition fees do not include application fees, material fees, accommodation,
    uniforms, living expenses, or personal expenses. Students are not required to pay more than 50% of total tuition
    fees prior to course commencement. Students must follow the agreed payment schedule.

    7.0 Other Fees and Charges
    Additional program-specific fees are outlined on the SMC website.

    8.0 Fee Transfer
    Fees are non-transferable to external institutions or individuals.

    9.0 Refund Policy
    Refund policies are provided prior to enrolment. Students are entitled to a
    10-business-day cooling-off period for full refunds (less application fee).

    10.0 Enrolment and Induction
    All students must attend orientation prior to course
    commencement.

    11.0 Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Support
    SMC provides LLN support for students in
    need, including students from diverse backgrounds and students with disabilities.

    12.0 Attendance and Course Progress
    Students must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance and
    satisfactory academic progress. International students must study full-time (20 hours per week). Failure to
    comply may result in visa cancellation.

    13.0 Re-assessment and Repeating Units

    Students are allowed two free reattempts to achieve a satisfactory result for each assessment after an initial
    submission either on or before the assessment due date. Students who fail to submit assessments on the due date
    will be required to pay a fee of $250 for the future submission of the same unit and will forfeit the two free
    resubmission attempts, and any additional reassessment will be charged a fee of $250. Students failing to
    achieve competency after the two reassessments must repeat the unit for a fee of $400, subject to availability.

    14.0 Credit Transfer (CT) and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
    Students may apply for CT
    or RPL. International students must maintain full-time enrolment regardless of credits.

    15.0 Change of Personal Details
    Students must notify SMC of any personal information changes
    within seven (7) days.

    16.0 Estimated Cost of Living in Australia
    Information regarding accommodation, utilities,
    food, OSHC, travel, and other expenses is available at www.studyaustralia.gov.au.

    17.0 Application Process

    1. Select your course and review entry requirements.

    2. Complete the enrolment form.

    3. Sign the declarations.

    4. Attach supporting documents.

    5. Submit your application.

    6. Attend pre-enrolment interview if required.

    7. Receive Letter of Offer and invoice.

    8. Complete payment and agreement.

    18.0 Payment
    All payments must be made in Australian Dollars via bank deposit, cheque, or

    19.0 Consent for Use of Photographs
    Students consent to photographs or videos being used for
    promotional purposes. Consent may be withdrawn in writing.

    20.0 Unique Student Identifier (USI)
    All students must hold a valid USI. Certificates cannot
    be issued without verified USI details.

    21.0 Privacy Policy
    SMC collects personal information for education and training purposes.
    Information may be shared with government authorities where required by law.

    22.0 Complaints and Appeals
    Complaints and appeals are handled in accordance with SMC's
    Dispute Resolution Policy and Student Handbook.

    23.0 Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2025
    SMC complies with national
    standards and is responsible for AQF certification.

    • Commonwealth, State, and Territory government departments and authorised agencies

    • National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)

    • Organisations conducting student surveys and researchers

    Your personal information may also be used for issuing statements of attainment or qualifications, facilitating
    education-related research and statistics, understanding how the VET sector operates, and administering VET
    programs.

    NCVER may contact you for a student survey. You may opt out at the time of contact. NCVER will handle your
    personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the VET Data
    Policy
