From 12.01am Friday, 4 September 2020 a single border region and a ‘border region resident’ permit came into effect.
Employers of highly-specialised critical service workers in non-border regions can register for a COVID-19 NSW border entry permit for their workers. If permits were issued up until 11:59 pm on 1 September 2020, holders of these permits will be re-assessed on arrival at Sydney airport and if the statements of claim are not considered to be consistent with the Public Health Order, they will be returned.
Note: Quarantine fees will be waived for NSW residents returning from Victoria who:
- are presently in quarantine
- who enter quarantine prior to 11 September.
