A Course credit is the recognition of prior learning, study, or work experience that allows students to receive credit towards a qualification. It can reduce the course duration and cost required to complete a course by exempting students from certain units if they have already met the learning outcomes. This process is outlined on the Sydney Metro College website under the download section in the Student Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning Policy.

The Training Package requires that students must have completed the following six units or their equivalent:

  • Completion of the FNSSS00014 Accounting Principles Skill Set;

OR

  • Completion of FNS40222 Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent.

Sydney Metro College has the following entry requirements:

  • Students must be over 18 years of age.
  • Students must have completed an overseas equivalent of Year 12 or higher qualification.

Students must have either an IELTS score of 5.5 total or above with no band lower than 5.0 or equivalent.

This qualification will be delivered over 52 weeks, consisting of 4 terms of 9 weeks, plus up to 16 weeks of term breaks (4 weeks per term), including public holidays.

This program is delivered in the classroom and through structured online study on  e-learning portal.
